The Hitachi StarBoard Viewer allows anyone to view, edit, modify and save StarBoard Software files on any computer and present the material using any brand of interactive whiteboard. Our goal is to close the digital divide between students and teachers who want access to StarBoard files, as well as providing simple interactive whiteboard software to use for free.

Feature Highlights

The StarBoard viewer is an open license application that resembles our StarBoard 3.0 light edition software. It offers the essential interactive whiteboard tools such as virtual whiteboard space, digital inks, manipulating objects, docking/floating toolbar, and more. What's unique about the StarBoard viewer compared to other viewers is its ability to save changes to the file, so it can be used for building and delivering lessons.

StarBoard Viewer Goals: 

The purpose of the StarBoard Viewer is to promote 21st century learning and open educator resources through connecting, sharing, and giving.

1. Connecting - The StarBoard viewer allows teachers who switch schools or boards to continue to use StarBoard files, as well as for educators currently using a different brand whiteboard to use StarBoard files.
2. Sharing – The StarBoard viewer is an excellent tool for students to view, modify, & create their own interactive lessons.
3. Giving - To allow anyone using regular or tablet PCs to have free interactive whiteboard software to use.
